I think that cars also must be too cheap. There are way too many of them these days. Parking has become impossible in my SF neighborhood. Have not done the numbers, but I suspect that the real price of automobiles is getting lower and lower due to global overcapacity, etc. Every family seems to have 3, 4 or even 5 cars.
