Anybody know what WDC's latest guidance is on units? Alexy's been modeling 6.1 mln, but that's ridiculous. The numbers won't work out with what we know about ASPs, margins, and break-even quarter... unless they move some of their expenses into their restructuring charge. This is why I'm so skeptical of the productivity argument... First Call doesn't include "one-time" restructuring charges that are being used more and more to restate inflated earnings, past, present, or future. There is no difference between a company earning $.20, $.20, $.20, $.20 and one that earns $.20, $.30, $.40, $.50 if the latter takes a $.60 restructuring charge!
