If I were long, I'd be thrilled the stock is holding up this well.

Actually, I am thrilled. I expected there would be more selloff after no new hardware was announced. Small buying opportunity, methinks, especially for those trading options.

I'm anxious to see if there's a nice pop on June 9th when AAPL begins trading post-split.

Did you watch the keynote? Great additions to iOS 8 for developers allowing them much more access to iOS. Over 4000 new APIs! New, simpler programming language as well. Devs were excited about all of that stuff. You should be excited.

>> If I were long, I'd be thrilled the stock is holding up this well. It's all about iOS vs Android these days, and without something that will boost that iOS share, it should be taken as a red flag.

Gotta tell you, there was a lot in that. The communication among devices is a pretty big improvement, iMessage and mail both are substantially improved. The biggest thing is the new programming language imo, as it looks like it should substantially cut app development times. Just looking through the book it will be quick to learn (although the libraries will be the same).

The point is it encourages people who own an iPad to own an iPhone, people who own a Mac to own both.

I saw no red flag in there anywhere.
