Herb,

Yes, indeed, the fundamentals are very important. I use them to validate the EZ-PnF point and figure chart patterns that I see.
But then, there are weeks like this last one where no matter how good your fundamentals might have been... you were taken out and shot like the rest. :-(

But the ones with good fundamentals and good chart patterns should bounce back quickest and go furthest. :-)
