That alone disproves your absolute statement. But yes, I certainly think they are a company full of red flags over the past couple of years, and today's lack of big product announcements, while not a surprise, is another one in my book. As a consumer, I want one millions choices down to each bolt that goes in a car:). If each of those bolts was worth your time and would make a notable difference, you probably would. The beauty of smartphone customization is that you can leave the defaults if you don't care, but if you want to make your phone suit your needs and work more efficiently for you, that option is given too. I think Apple will gradually come around on this point by continuing to add more custom notifications, widget capabilities, developer options, and the like.Google's revenues and profits are pitiful compared to Apple's From an investor perspective, profits per dollar invested, not just now but where they're headed, is what matters. Given the profit growth of Google and Apple's relatively flat trajectory, it's quite likely that you'll pull in more profit per dollar invested with Google a couple years from now. Not a given, but not a long shot, and some investors are betting on it.and Google screwed Apple with Android. Evidence of this? Did thy do it in a different manner than Apple is "screwing" Android by copying some of its features? I think Apple is doing a great job by emulating what consumers prefer.I have nothing against individuals who aren't pro-Apple and post negative articles or subjective opinions about Apples as that is how we learn, but where do you draw the line? Kurt Bought my first Mac (circa 1989, MacPlus) and have never owned a PC:) If you would like, I will stop posting here. Please don't stop. You make great contributions. But some of what you say is getting a bit repetitive and leading to circular discussions, indeed.
