Unfortunately pacific galleon was always behind the 8 ball.it went to voisey bay aftert everyone else and wasted money there,it went ot indonesia and wasted money there and it went to mali and west africa after it had all been picked over and wasted money there .it really has never been involved in a project that had any significant promise and has never really undertaken a significant drilling program with any prospects for success.
so its really wasted all its money on futile projects, that combined with bre x and others ,the severe bear market in gold and the severe bear market in the small mining stocks leaves those of us with stock in the company with a worthless shell.
kaiser had recommended pfc and said about a year ago that he thought pfc was finally getting its act together but clearly that was erroneus.peter bryant is very nice and informative to talk to on the phone but unfortunately the track record of pfc strongly indicates he does not have the contacts to acquire semi decent properties with prospects.i should have known early on that it would turn to sand when the o/p indicated that pfc should do well (that was around the time of bre x when bre x was over 20$ and being promoted by her.)
anyway i am left with a lot of worthless paper which basically costs more to sell than the stock is worth .
unfortunately i cannot see pfc ever resusitating without a roll back and new management but i dont think my shares will ever be worth anything .i guess you live and learn.arh
