At this rate the US is going to be a de facto Chinese colony soon. My guess is that China does not squeeze us unless we refuse to play ball, but instead once they are firmly in control of the value of our currency via gold and their own currency, they begin to tell us to jump and we must quickly answer "how high?" or the dollar drops to nothing and the US goes along with it. Kind of like what the US has been doing for decades to other countries (aka their de facto colonies) using the dollar (aka their de facto colonies).

I think the US has already lost the "currency" war via all the gold moving from west to east and they don't even realize it yet. Yeah we have a strong military, but how did that work out for Russia when their currency went to shit? A strong military and advanced weapons quickly become change from an asset to liability when you can no longer pay their upkeep. Got coups, civil war, and splintering states?
