Also, it is worth noting that persons self-identifying as "scientists" may be simple biology, chemistry, or physics,

What do you mean by simple biology, chemistry, or physics???

A lot of those "scientists" are reliant on government for their incomes and are not trained to understand the relationship of cost to what they do; most engineers receive at least some training on the concept of cost vs. benefit, and of course, do actual work for a living rather than receive a government stipend.

You have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about......to suggest that a scientist skews his work and conclusions for a stipend is totally stupid... Science in which one has peers that will repeat anothers work to validate or invalidate his results.... And if that work has large implications, it will be repeated many times by other scientists.... And you are clearly not aware of the difference between those who are currently called "engineers" and scientists. In industry, especially high tech, all scientists and engineers are usually referred to as engineers largely to avoid the scramble of many disciplines and specialties.... On the other hand a CPA's work is largely putting the dollars and cents in the correct column in the ledger...

Asstalk from Dave, with no FACTS backing it up. Go to Silly Valley Dave, and see if engineers are conservative.

While half of scientists self-identify as "liberal" and the other half as "conservative" or "independent", the vast majority of engineers are conservative. >.

It was 80% dem and 6% pub. And 51% liberals and it was not the rest conservative.

And engineer's are different than scientists.

And it is scientists around the world that agree on global warming. Are they all on the take.

More of your misrepresented fantasy world.
