GLIA FDA approval Friday and the stock tanked 25% should put the fear in anyone assuming DEPO stock will jump on the 18th.

OFF TOPIC CNN reported that the FDA just approved a drug for use in combatting RODDA VIRUS (phonetic spelling) a diarrhea problem. Obvious from my discription I don't have a med/bio background but would like to know who the player companies are for this new approval. The article was very careful not to give out the company name. Any ideas. Thanks in advance. Kevin

But if it's for me, I would.>> Thank you also for your comments. I seem to have sparked a friendly debate, which is a good sign of an active thread. If I already had 7 figures in this account, I think I would be more conservative at this time. But the fact is many stocks with excellent prospects are down right now due to Asian Flu overreaction, year end selling, etc. This may be a very good time to pick up some bargains (short term risk doesn't bother me). I just picked up a little INTC and MRVC for this acct on Friday - good prices. I will still consider DEPO, but only after the 18th if approval is given. Again, I watch daily so I can react quickly to fundamental changes in a stock's prospects.
