Dave and all else, yes you are correct that inst.'s stay away from the $5 stocks. And if anyone is looking at buying this junk stock I would still wait. Institutions still own 37%. If just one tried selling a million shares does anyone think that they would get the current market price for this stock. NO. Of couse not. $2-3 is not out of the question when somebody will unload 1,2,3 million shares. You can have all the book value in the world or cash, etc. and still get slaughtered buy an institutional selling. On the bright side, that's the time to buy!

Hi Dave,

I appreciate your comments.....I just feel that a lot of the selling at this point is tax loss in nature by individual investors that are reveiwing portfolios at years end. Also, selling picks up at the end of the day, much of it in 1000 share blocks, i feel a great deal of that are day traders like myself intra-day trading and unsuccessfully trying to guess the bottom....I witnessed a similiar situation with The Learning Company last year at 6 bucks, but the stock recovered significantly in 1997(up to 20), I'm not saying SIII will go to 20 in 1998, but at this point its easy money for a fairly short time horizon.....
