the evolution of smart phones
Part of that evolution has been Apple's wise and recent additions of notifications, third-party keyboards, and (presumably) larger screen sizes. All bring iPhones/iOS closer in functionality to Android phones in a good way. As someone who relies upon my phone not only to feed me important data through the day, but filter and order it before presentation, that's a very beneficial and I hope Apple keeps moving in that direction. You differ?

The custom keyboard integration in particular is a huge one for me. I've been frustrated with iOS because I am approximately twice as efficient inputting information using my choice of keyboard, meaning I'm much slower on Apples. This should close the gap for me, and I doubt I'm alone.
during the months and quarters you've been philosophically debating how many large-screen phones can dance on the head of a pin, you... have missed out on awesome hellacious gains in Apple stock
I got out well before the highs in 2012 (low 600s) but have achieved returns roughly in line with the broader market since then, which actually outpaces how I would have done by hanging on. So yes, missed out, but did better elsewhere. (Disclosure: I also take occasional options positions, often around earnings, and have lost roughly 4% of my portfolio on Apple puts during the same period on three different batches combined. I also made about 5% on two of them combined, adding a modest boost. My latest position is substantially in the red but doesn't expire until Aug, so not yet sunk.)

PS> Yes, I noticed the two blatant personal attacks and one indirect one in your post. I'm sorry that my different opinion evokes such frustration, but I suspect you might be given a pass on your multiple violations of the forum rules. I hope you are, as I don't take offense and benefit from what you have to offer.
