When you sign up for a particular bandwidth with ADSL you have a line dedicated to you for that specific speed. When you sign up for a speed on cable, the speed is dependent upon the number of users on at the time-so as the numbers of users increase the inherent speed of the connection will drop. Sorry Tom. Hurry up and gimme my ADSL now!
