OT: Hi Annie And rnsmth and HerbVic and Heywood and WLD among those I know from other venues who've posted within the past 24 hours, plus those of you who've kept closer to SI home and/or changed your handle so I don't know who anyone is anymore. I've shared insights and recipes and occasional witticisms with you for near 15 years. I haven't gone completely away, just had more immediate concerns with growing children to intervene with my long-ingrained need to tell Apple what the heck to do. So far they've always done it, even if not always right away. :@)

We desperately need sane people here. What is your definition of "sane" on this thread? Apple-loving sunshine and lollipop table pounders who can't find anything to criticize about the mothership? Or is it those who critique Apple and AAPL regarding the realities of the smartphone, tablet and computer marketplaces, with good analysis backed up with links and factual info? A mix of the above two things? Some other definition? I'd really like to know...
