OT On the topic of old computers: OT (old Time): Sorry, not even close. I've written a couple of Fortran Compilers ... and used the IBM 7094/90 precursor to the IBM 370/360 as well as the 360. BUT, the IBM 010 was a card punch machine. ...Hollerith cards,... ... The one I used was mechanical, not electrical. You may remember the punched cards from seeing our Florida presidential elections a few years back. Okay, I've had it with you guys, you asked for it!!! Oh yeah? The computer I first programmed on was soooo old (how old was it?) It was so old that it didn't have one's and zero's, only zero's! It was so old that we couldn't plug it in because electricity wasn't discovered yet! To send email you needed a stamp! The default font was Cuneiform! The internal clock ran on sand! The screen had cataracts! The error messages were in Latin! In order to burn a DVD, you needed to rub two sticks together! It's so old that other user accounts included "Moses" "Job" and "Leviticus"! It was so old... It's file with "physical constants of the universe" had values that were way different!
