Started programming in 1972 using a teletype connected to the College mainframe by Modem, the kind with the suction cups that was the size of a small toaster.

The System took up a whole floor of the building and was probably less powerful than my iPhone is today.

Oh the days of praying to the Computers Gods that boxes of punch cards produced something more than a single sheet of error results.

Don't miss those days at all.

Happy to see some of the Geeky stuff from the WWDC like the fact Apple cut the Video Layer Code down making it far more efficient and the new Language tools are so much better than Pascal coding on a Mac Plus.
