Global temperatures are colder now than they have been around 90% of the time since the end of the last Ice Age. That being the case, it is likely that it could get warmer in the future, for reasons having little or nothing to do with human activity. In that event, my prediction is that humans will thrive, as we have during every known historical warm era.
