Doesn't this just mean you can either use the 3.5 or the lightning jack for some extra capabilities (depending on your headphone's needs)? I would hope this is the case but you never know. There are many that refuse to upgrade to newer Tech. I'm still using a SCSI Scanner but not sure how much longer that will be possible as the Developer that made the SCSI card I have has stopped development on drivers so the next OS might be too much and push me to retire the unit. I certainly won't be able to use it with any of the new Mac Pro's and need to find an equally good replacement. Definitely got my moneys worth from this model though and looking forward to whats coming next. Now if we could just get the backbone of the Net all up to Fiber everywhere that would be really great.
