Actually, I always thought AOL's better hope was in online shopping. Their was something in the news about online shopping. An AOL member, who regarded herself as exceptionally savvy, was boasting how she did all her Christmas shopping on AOL. Apparently she did not know that their are actually shopping venues outside of AOL. What I have noticed is that CD's prices on the web are more expensive than in my local Circuit City store, and with CC, I get immediate gratification.
