Air Methods Corporation Confirms Fatal Helicopter Accident

DENVER, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Air methods Corporation (Nasdaq: AIRM - news) sadly announced that late Sunday, December 14, 1997, one of its
medically- equipped Bell 407 helicopters crashed in Littleton, Colorado. The helicopter was on a mission to pick up an automobile accident victim. The
Air Methods' pilot, two hospital flight nurses and the patient aboard the helicopter died in the crash. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the
National Transportation Safety Board, the Company and others.
