Hey Mike isn't the internet wonderful. I used to go to parties to have this kind of a discussion.

It is commonly accepted economic theory that internal transfer payments have negligible economic impact. Foreign investments in local currency may have an impact when and if the money is repatriated back home. but that's a whole different subject.
