With globalization I don't think "raw power" is going to work that well any more.

It was different when the U.S. had something of a monopoly on manufacturing. Now companies have options for their production.

I actually think that the models that foreign manufacturers are using in the Southern states may be the best way to go. The workers seem to thrive and the manufacturers seem to thrive.

The workers and the companies both seem to have incentives to excel.

I'm not coming to these conclusions flippantly so don't be ticked that I'm seemingly against you or anything, but I've always been something of a compromiser and I've found that to be the most efficient way to come to a conclusion.
