ANYTHING is a pollutant if you get too much of it....
Well yeah, if you sit in a room where the air is 15% CO2, THEN it becomes a pollutant.

We're nowhere near those levels in the atmosphere. Instead, we're talking about levels of CO2 that might have an effect on the constantly shifting equilibrium that is our environment.

Until we can master terraforming our entire planet, we're better off just adapting like we always do. Trying to reduce our footprint (except in obvious ways like smog reduction) is an exercise in futility.
