Was not impressed with laptop line up either. The 15" books are just too small for me. Disappointing. Goes without saying I don't like the new iMacs. I may try to find a quality top end 2011 iMac for a back up. Doubt I'll be buying any more new Macs at this point.

I'd say the sooner you move to your all-Linux-all-the-time box, the happier we will all be.
