As an iOS backup drive, the 20GB upgrade for $12 / y is a no brainer for me. I have bumped up against the 5GB limit many times across 3 iOS devices. Whether I use the extra space as a substitute for Dropbox and OneDrive depends not on the pricing (Apple is competing with free in my case), but on features and platform compatibility.
