I think its fairly obvious that Safari is on the back burner at Apple. The fact that Apple coders didn't even bother to see if Safari was compatible with their site is telling... and that's the point.

The iPhone has priority.

Chrome is not on the back burner at Google. I'm even using a version of Chrome that is far older than my version of Safari.
