Right now, I would take this statement from the current administration with a grain of salt. Me too. I can't imagine being separated from a child who wouldn't want to talk to his/her parents the minute s/he could. It would be the one thing that would keep that child going while in captivity - thinking about seeing his family again. Unless, of course, this is the beginning of the deprogramming/reprogramming and the manufactured scenario that he's mentally ill.
