Yes, spending 5 seconds worrying about those 5 guys is simplistic and nuts. There are over a billion people over there who hate us and chant death to America. Yes, but a very small, minuscule minority are willing to act on it. These five guys were judged by military and CIA in the field to be extraordinarily dangerous, which is the reason they wound up in GTMO. While no one likes the idea that it was necessary to hold these people, the reality is they were there for a reason. A reason powerful enough that Barack Obama, who ran six years ago on a platform of closing the facility, has not been able to figure out what to do with these people. Now, out of political expedience, he ships them off throwing all caution to the wind. It is stupid. But that is what happens when you put an idiot in the White House.
