Another factor

is pent up demand by those NOT buying ahead of the split. It caused many accounting hassles over the weekend. My account still shows my AAPL stock position as being over $1 mm in the red. Options are a horror show of strike prices Interested in buying a Jan 89.29 Call?

Once it split. You were buying the final product. The stock at 94.22. You could skip the Jan 89.29 call in favor of the Jan 90.

It had occurred to me over the weekend. I should have believed it a bit more and bought harder on the mid morning dip. No matter. I'm still happily making money in my AAPL positions.
