Informal Channel Check:
We were at Computer City in New Hampshire last weekend. Upon entering the store we were greeted by the Iomega multimedia presentation: lots of SCSIs Zips, Zip plus, Jaz and Ditto available too (no internal Zips). Plenty of disk. Zip disk (including Color Gigopacks with RecordIt) available in three locations.

At total of four syjunk units in the whole store. Two each of the "other" removable storage products.

There were only two models of PCs with Zip Insiders (didn't check the MACs). Told the salesman i wanted a Compaq with a Zip (actually i already own one). He said that they "sold all we had and ordered more." He didn't know when they would be in.

Will check again tomorrow.
