The forward PE for GILD is 10.3 that is why it is a value stock 9 months from now. finviz.com GILD just released the largest blockbuster drug ever in Solvadi, it has only been available for one quarter and it sales were 2.27 billion in the first quarter and this should only increase from there as it become available in other countries such as those in Europe. If you ever wanted a pill to cure cancer, this is a drug that essentially does just that, but for hepatitis C. There are millions of customers for this drug and now everyone has access to Health Insurance through Obamacare. While there are going to be some issues with paying for this treatment, it is a true cure and people's lives are going to be saved by this drug. seekingalpha.com
