Seriously?

I made one right from the getgo. What if Saddam just pulls his troops back into the cities and fights what would essentially be a guerilla war? How many civilians would we have had to kill if he had done that and how long would it have taken? I think you can look to Syria and the body count and destruction there to get an idea.

As far as saying that Saddam was a "destabilizing force" in the area, I don't think Cheney thought so when Iraq was fighting Iran. Didn't he go over and shake the guy's hand?

Iraq wasn't threatening anybody other than Iran when we went in there and they weren't destabilizing anything either.

SINCE then they've become a breeding ground for TERRORISTS.....and an ALLY for Iran...
