FUBHO,
yes, there are a lot of variables in investing, but you also have the company working to make things happen. That's not true when you roll the dice or turn a card. It's all chance. At least when you invest in a company, the entire company team is working hard to push things to the next level. Its as if they are trying to push that dice over to a favorable conclusion.
