The Democrats appreciate the value of education.

The Republicans actually see it as a threat to their ideology, as they teach facts in universities, not myth.

This is ignorant cynicism and it typical of your so-called "arguments". What you fail to understand is that Republicans are like Democrats, they just have a different view what leads to a good education and they recognize there is little correlation, and no evidence of causation, between the spending of money and the quality of education one receives.

There are, of course, exceptions -- in both directions. For example, Alaska spends a lot yet doesn't turn out better educated students. Same for Wyoming. Mass turns out well-educated students, but spends less than neighboring states which spend far more. Colorado spends less than Mississippi, students in CO are far better educated than those in MS. AL spends more than both and is at the low end of the spectrum.

It isn't about the money and it isn't about the federal government. It is about the family and the local school board.

OTOH, there are examples where correlation exists, but I doubt it is statistically significant.

What we do know, though, is that we've more than doubled (138%) the inflation-adjusted expenditures since 1985, and educations are just getting worse by the day.
