They are very small cities; not major ones.
Fresno: 5th largest city in California, population 500K, 112 sq. mi.

Compton: Population 96K, in the heart of Los Angeles, very well-known for its black community and its rap and hip-hop music.

Both are major cities in California, Ted. It's silly to deny that just because some right-winger tells you that they are having financial problems

No, they are not. Fresno is a poor farm town and Compton a poor suburb. Not major by any stretch of the imagination. The major cities are LA: 4 million; San Diego: over 1.5 million; SF: nearly 1 million; Sacramento: nearly 500K; Oakland: 400K.

Those are the major cities of CA. Of the majors, the two most important are SF and LA. You have nothing. Sorry.

BTW you've lived in CA long enough. Learn your state.
