Yes, inflation in asset prices works only for those who have assets. That's one of the unintended consequences of all those TARPs, QEs and other "stimuli". I'm still not cynical enough to think that this was the intention from the beginning. Occam's razor approach suggests that - so far - everything can be explained simply by human arrogance, stupidity, lack of principles, ethical weakness, unwise short term greed for money and power, etc. But, whatever it is, it's corrosive.
