"Bashing" is a pejorative term that suggests prejudice.

I detected plenty of prejudice in Ryan's post.
1) he prejudged that the iWatch would cost over $550.
2) he prejudged that Apple would not bring any innovation in hardware
3) he prejudged that Apple would not bring any innovation in software

I think it's fun to speculate on an unnannounced product, but I didn't see anything worth discussing when the product is presumed to have such huge failings, other than to concede that the iWatch, as Ryan envisions it, kinda sounds like it sucks as a biometrics sensor.

" ... Its a fine line between endless bickering and real discussion ..."

Your statement and topic brings to mind a quote by Justice Potter Stewart some years ago. A generation ago, the US Supreme Court was wrestling with how to define "pornography." What was it? When did acts amount to it? Justice Stewart had it settled in his view. He famously said: "I know when I see it."

I suspect most of the patrons of this board know exactly what he articulated and see "it."
