This is the AMD thread and as an AMD investor you should be gravely concerned about the next nail in the AMD coffin, to wit, a mid-course correction which abandons AMD's failed attempt to provide an alternative processor for desktop systems and veers erratically into Cyrix' space. That's the connection between AMD and the facts about INTC wafers having 15 times the value of a Cyrix wafer. Instead of going after n-way servers and high-margin notebooks they made another wrong turn down a dead-end highway.
