Eyeballing will fool anyone. The data you get in the system test report tells you what
happens over time, you would have to have the best eyeball going to see this. I
suggest you perform tests and read the reports.

A system that is good for me, might not be for you and vice versa. Know yourself.
What is your desired average trade period? what drawdowns will you sit thru? How
many loosers will you take in a row? What are sizes of losses? Wins? etc?

BBB gives candidates not exit/entry.

I agree with Richard. Another benefit of the system test is that
it can mark your charts with the buy sell points and also it can
draw an equity versus/time line to show how much money you have
at any point in time trading this system. BTW: You might want to check this link out and keep it handy for looking up info on popular
TA indicators. Its an online version of TA from A-Z by Steve Achelis.
From what I can tell it contains the whole book in its entirety.

Richard and Sean,

Thanks guys, now I understand! I've already seen the differences in time periods, entry/exit point differences just in comparing Richards 13,3,89 with Davids' 5,13,40! It's very interesting! I just wanted to make sure that by using the same indicators charting, and the exact same indicators in the system tests, that I wasn't doing something wrong or incorrect.
