Mr.Schnurr,

If you are spreading rumors and talking bullshit, I have to inform
the other members of the thread, not you. I suppose, you know, what you are doing. People don't.

Your questions:

1a) I live in Europe. So what's your point?

1b) Changing opinions is your right, of course. But doing it in such a stupid way as I documented it and everybody can check, is unworthy of an self called "industrial specialist".

2) You were speaking of "sources" in your prior posts, do you remember?

3) Hedging is not illegal, neither in U.S. nor in Europe. Telling everybody, that you are long, when you are hedged, is also not illegal, neither in U.S. nor in Europe. And fooling everybody is also not illegal, neither in U.S. nor in Europe. But believe me: it's bullshit.

4)Obviously you believe, that somebody, who speaks rarely, has nothing to say. In my opinion you are the best example of somebody, who speaks all the time, but has nothing to say. What you are talking, serves your ego, but nobody else.

PS: Do you really believe, that only "industrial specialists" can make money. Boy, you are naive. "Ignorance is bliss" to me - boy, you are
so right.

You defended yourself pretty well! I came to this thread for the first time today since I'm interested in KLIC at current prices and saw the previous post. Out of curiosity, I read your posts [the ones referred to] and thought to myself - sounds like any investor over on the Quantum thread [where I usually live]- including being a little overenthusiastic in early Dec. What's the big deal?
More to the point: There was an article in either today's Barron's or in IBD in the past 3 days quoting some guy who had a great track record at charting the semiconductor industry. Basically this guy saw continued growth in '98 [he was most worried about Korea, but I think pointed out they had only 9% of the market]. Whoever wrote the article said at the end: "If he's right these stocks [KLIC, KLAC, etc.] are a screaming buy." At a PE of 10, with a ROE of 21%, price/sales of 1.15, a float of 22 x 10^6 shares with only 23 x 10^6 shares outstanding, no debt, and a current ratio of 3.41, looks like a buy, even recognizing the two year low has been around 7.50.
