ALL: RE: Experts laughing off y2k

A while ago I heard Stephen J. Gould, the author/Harvard professor on NPR talking about his book dealing with the Millenium. (Not y2k) Anyway, someone beat me to it and called up asking about his views on y2k. He is a brilliant guy whose work I deeply respect.

I was shocked to hear him literally scoff/laugh and say it was nothing, "Oh sure, there may be a few glitches but that's all." That's just about a perfect quote. He thought it was funny and beneath comment.

Amazing n'est-ce pas?

best, Ivan
