If you want to bury a story, drop it on Friday afternoon. That’s why the IRS revealed today that they “accidentally” deleted the Lois Lerner emails that could have shed some light on how and why the Tea Party targeting was coordinated. In response, House Rep. Jason Chaffetz tweeted out this video of his grilling of the IRS Commissioner in March where he said those emails were in their possession, and repeated over and over that they would indeed hand them over to Congress.

What’s really galling is how arrogant the commissioner is about the subpoena as if Chaffetz is being completely unreasonable, when three months later he’s absolutely proven right.
