Of course. The number of signing statements isn't important. It is the nature of them that matters.

And Obama's have, by any measure, been far more egregious and contrary to our Constitution than anything Bush ever did. It isn't even close. That is what the liberal Turley and others are referring to.

The signing statement count doesn't matter. The question is whether they are used to get around Congress. While Bush may have done that on arguable points, Obama has blatantly abused the privilege. Which is a key reason people are starting to talk about putting him on trial under the impeachment provisions.

What it comes down to is you think it is fine for presidents you support but not fine for presidents you don't.
