Yes, I do capice...very much so in fact. I could easily be Budhist. Well, I think I could. Haven't studied it deeply. The goal of subjegating the ego completely is actually similar to the concept in Christianity that pride is the most diabolical of sins. Pride (and ego) always involve enmity. They separate us from God (Christian concept) and from each other. They make it so difficult to accept blame and change our ways. They are the enemies of love.
