The subject is to "look at th numbers" I have not changed the subject. The subject is still numbers. If you want to look at the numbers now, then why is it that you did not care to look at the numbers during the two wars? Many of us knew very well that we did not have the funds to sustain the wars and that we would be drawing from these programs. We looked at the numbers then and we told you so. You didn't care then. Why do you care now. So what we are saying now, shut up, get out of our way, we will fight to survive and to restore our nation's past glory and make all these programs solvent again. We believe in the future, a future where we don't say that we will borrow the money now to fight a war and make it up in the future. Instead we say we surely will make it up in the future and that we use for social programs today instead of using that borrowed money to fight a war. Do you consider education an investment or do you consider it as an expense. War is an expense, SS and Medicare is an investment.
