Hi Ed - yes he was quite set to do an article of retraction but I thought it would be better to decline in view of what I consider to be a major mishandling and serious matter with regard to the surveillance that was exercized by the VSE.

I didn't want the SI accusation of starting a rumour which was proven to be invalid to be a factor one way or the other in this affair at this time. The core should never have been described as massive sulphides especially in light of the previous 1.1 meter of 22% metal. It would have been PERFECTLY visually obvious to the geologists that it would not grade anywhere in the 22% metal range. So, I think we have a "bone to pick" with Teck and Donner for putting out the Monday "massive sulphides" news release. There were some additional qualifications and adjectives that could very nicely have described this core, even if they left out the word "massive", it would have been better.

What the &ell else would the market players think following on from the previous release?

The reporter was actually very impressed with the down-to-earth exchange of information and cooperation that was going on in this thread and totally amazed I think that we were not some mythical group of weird creatures which truly has been an incorrect perception.

He liked my bottom-fishing derby post.

We have sort of agreed to do a feature article early in the new year basically the gist of which will be how the Internet sources of information provide a more fair playing field for the Investor who is trying not to get ripped off by the Promoter, Insider, Company, Brokerage houses, and lack of proper reporting procedures and meaningful surveillance.
