<<<<<<Off topic........

Doc you use AOL right? If you do what do you think of the Preview Travel Service? They are also an Excite Partner in the Travel Business. I see they just went public at $11 on 11/20/97 they're down to 9 1/4.

.........i use ATT worldnet--sorry!

.........btw just heard an economist talking about korea and japan. said that korea is under a mountain of bad debt

.......... but japan is doing all of the right things (resolving bank crisis and deregulating the financial sector + maybe cutting taxes). this means that everyone will flip out about the world going to hell in a handbasket and sell stocks expecting armageddon. although there will be a slow down (esp in tech and multinationals) in the u.s. economy, japan will revive and that means that 2/3 of the worlds economies will be strong. threrefore, the next 1-3 months should be a buying opportunity. :-)

.......also, when you think of what sector is not exposed to SE asia, is growing like mad, and should be unaffected by currency changes. that's right--those internet companies! i think i might sell my cisco and take the cash and put in companies like ckfr, intu, xcit, etc. that have less exposure to foreign consumption.

.....have a good weekend.
