I think the number of people killed in Ca by Earthquakes pales in comparison to the number of people killed by twisters in just about any state that has them. I have lived through a lot of Earthquakes- and I don't mind them. They're not really that scary- unless they are really big. Loma Prieta was scary- but even that one didn't even break anything in our home- although it scared the heck out of me. I've lived in Ca all my life- and only been in 1 scary Earthquake- and didn't even sustain any damage. What's not to love? Plus, the weather! OMG. The weather!
