We went from investing in the future (the interstate system, the space program, and even alt-en research) to "Yer invited to a "Get Ahead of the Jones" Party, credit cards and 3rd mortgages accepted. Now in that future, and everything is falling apart.. bridges, roads, grid, waste disposal. While we were partying with the cash from the mortgage, the roof sprang a leak, a car ran thru the front window, a bunch of rich kids from that other school used Roundup to write "fuck you" on the front lawn, and an exploding fried turkey set the garage on fire. It's sad but it's going to take decades to clean up the Republican caused messes.. Wars, virtually no funding for infrastructure, education.... Pathetic. What a sanctimonious load of tripe. Yes, if it weren't for those nasty Republican anti-science bible bangers holding up "progress", we'd all live in a nice green socialist paradise. Yes, stereotype away.. Jerry has done a good job of turning around California. Did you even bother reading that article I posted earlier on the dysfunctional "State" of CA? Can you refute any of the facts that were presented there?
