The problem, alas, is that a training heavy in belief leaves one less prepared to evaluate life for what it is- what is is for ALL of us, not just what it is for people who believe in things unseen and untested. Respect is highly over rated. I think respecting people leaves open a whole host of evils- because if people are being absolutely bonkers, you need to call them on it. I would argue that part of the problem with the news and talking head shows, is that they are always trying to get two points of view- and there doesn't seem to be much care taken with evaluating just how crazy the points of view are. All ideas are NOT equal. Ideas with proof are worth more than ideas without proof. And ideas with no proof are worthless. It would be good to focus on things like that.

I would put Wolfowitz more in the sociopathic criminal category. He tells blatant lies without flinching, like Rumsfeld and the rest of the neo cons.

He is also very weird, and a bit nuts. And fits right in to the neo con family.
