bearshark, Re: CSCO. We could watch what happens. Now if it stays in this trading range for a while and if the next movw is down, it generally is violent. If the new paradigm in the tech sector is to get these stocks to a reasonable price this may happen. I would not trust a move up here..it will just give the instutational players an opportunity to decrease their exposure and could be a traders shorting opportumity.

BTW, When and if I short I will be in for the long haul..follow it down until it breaks out on the upside.

bearshark, I did some more looking at GM. The stock has a monthly lower low, a weekly lower low, and a down tick tomorrow we will have a daily lower low. We have already had a short covering rally at the 150 day moving average. It sure looks like a short to me.

Fundamantally this sector should have problems with currency and competition from asia and in SA.

Can you think of any reason GM should be able to increase earnings and revenues short term?
